Live Honey Bee Removal - Humane removal of live honey bees from  your property to re-home them without pesticides or chemicals. Live removals include swarms and established hives. Cost varies based on how established the live bees are, difficulty to access, and location. A local, easy-to-access swarm removal may be free, but an established hive living in your roof will require an estimate. Call the swarm line for urgent swarm removals.

Hive Share Program  -  Enjoy bees in your own backyard with the hive share program. Hive shares support you with full hive maintenance, site evaluation, pollination, and 50% of the honey harvest each year. I'll come out and manage your hive for you and harvest & bottle the honey each season. Honey harvest amounts are not guaranteed. Rates range from $250-500 annually depending  on location. Hive Share Program reservations and payments must be made by January 30th each year to  ensure you'll receive  bees that spring.

Becoming a skilled beekeeper requires a thought partner and extra support for the first couple years of your journey into beekeeping. Online mentoring can help. Sessions can be booked individually and may involve a variety of approaches, including live sessions in your apiary, demonstrations live from my apiary, or talks over virtual coffee. Topics include things like bee biology & anatomy, how a colony works, apiary set up, installing new colonies (packages or nucs),  swarm catching, troubleshooting, treatments, routine inspections, harvesting honey, re-queening, or making splits. Online mentoring sessions start at $150/hour.
