Carrie Swails

Carrie Swails has been a K-12 teacher since 2006, an entrepreneur since 2008, a parent since 2018, and autistic & ADHD since the day she was born. Carrie is a neurodiverse Certified Master Beekeeper in the mountains of eastern Utah. When she's not beekeeping she works her dream job in tech as a product marketing manager, combining years of business and marketing strategy, her passion for education, and small business all into one perfect role.  

In her career as an entrepreneur, Carrie and her business advice, speaking engagements, and professional photography were featured in places like the Bokeh Podcast, The Art of Six Figures, Photo Field Notes, Entrepreneur.com, Offbeat Bride, The BLINK Conference, Six Figure Photography, Rangefinder Magazine, THRIVE with Photography Farm, and countless others. Her autism public speaking events and workshops have reached many small tech companies through their DEI initiatives.

Carrie has a partner with a world-famous guacamole recipe, a damn cute preschooler, too many dogs, 10 chickens, a huge vegetable garden, and is a lifetime Tolkien nerd. She believes wine is like the force; it has light side, a dark side, and holds the universe together. She's also a fan of unicorns, second breakfasts, and Michelle Obama's arms.
